My 2 Cents About Varolo

I recently joined a website called “Varolo” Varolo pays its members to watch commercials, you also have a chance to be entered into weekly jackpots. The company doesn't advertise Varolo as being an MLM but in a lot of ways it is. The big difference is that it is free, they have not asked for personal information as of yet or for money, so that always is a good thing.

What I don't like about the website is that the only way you can make any type of true earnings is to build your “village” similar to a downline in MLM, again all free. It is just a matter of getting people interested in watching commercials. However the bigger your village the better the chance of any large accumulate of funds.

The other thing I don't like though is that to continue growth everyone in the village needs to be building their downline. All this is fine and well but most people won't know where to start. Varolo wants you to tell you friends and family but I never go that route as I would just be laughed at for falling for a potential scam.

The next big red flag is a lot of people are advertising this opportunity as a job when in fact it is not a job. Varolo is not going to take tax off of any money they give you and when you start building your downline you are not considered an employee. I HATE when people advertise programs like this as a job. The person I emailed about Varolo the first time was advertising it as a job, I signed up because I am very open to trying new things. And honestly even if Varolo doesn't pay me its not like I spent any money to get in or promote it. Everything I do is for free.

Something cool I did notice is that you can become a Varolo associate and promote Varolo to interested advertisers. This could result in income from a different stream and it doesn't need to even relate to building your village. Perhaps being a associate might be more appealing then dealing with the headache of trying to get interested people in your downline?

I am currently signed up as an associate to but have yet to have any interested persons want to signup. It truly will take time and work and I know this. Being a former member of GDI, I know how stressful it can be to build a downline and have people stay motivated. The way I look at it though Varolo is free, there is no reason to give up motivation so easily. Try and try is all we can do and see what happens from there!

The Varolo User Presentation

What Do You Think?

How did it make you feel watching this video, and what is your opinion on it? It would be great to see feedback and opinions in the comments. When I first watched it I thought “Eh who knows?” Again after being unsuccessful with GDI I have little hope in Varolo. I think the only reason why I am staying positive about it is because it is free!

Choose Your Ads!

The good thing about Varolo is that you can choose what advertisements you want to watch based on your interest, and not only that but at the end of some ads you may be able to get coupons which definitely can be nice to anyone who enjoys coupons. The picture below shows the current categories you can watch advertisements from:

From this picture you can see to make a possible monthly livable income you need a lot of people. Keep in mind though that the larger your village the better it will be in regards to growing your actual village. To be successful everyone needs to be working together, at least by seeing Varolo's videos that is what it appears. I am not the type of person to lie and promise anything. Because there is a good chance that if you join Varolo you will have so much trouble building a downline that quitting could happen. This type of thing is not for everyone...

Questions To Ponder...

Once I get my downline going though I want to share with my members ways to promote Varolo. Anyone already knowledgeable in internet marketing may find this easy but others won't.

So ask yourself some questions right now:

  1. Is this something I would share with my friends and family?

  2. Am I motivated enough to promote Varolo online to build my village and bring in advertisers?

  3. Do I want to help people succeed?

  4. Do I have the time to keep up with the work involved?

  5. Understanding this is not a job, but more so a business

As I mentioned earlier in the article the biggest thing that upsets me is seeing people shamelessly promote this as a job. All it does is upset people who email the user. DO NOT ADVERTISE THIS AS A JOB. Sorry for the caps but don't waste unemployed peoples time like that.

Now for the questions. Personally I won't be sharing Varolo with any friends until my downline grows, most of them don't have the attention span anyways so there is no point, not to mention they will just flake off probably. If you think you have friends and family interested though then by all means share Varolo with them.

In order to make a possible income you need your village to grow and its not going to happen overnight. It will take time, in some cases a lot of time and work on your part. I want to help anyone interested, I am no guru but I can give you some starting tips and points. If the motivation is not there and you just want to watch ads and be entered into weekly jackpots that is ok too.

I think by helping your village members succeed that will help increase your chance at having people stay in your village and actually promote Varolo. Bringing people in and leaving them to just watch the videos may not be enough.

I don't want to be mean sounding but if you don't have the time to share Varolo with anyone or try any advertising methods then you probably won't make much if anything off of Varolo. If the time is there and motivation theres a better chance of getting somewhere with it.

And lastly Varolo is not a job which is why I said to stay away from advertising it as one, not to mention 80% of the time some ad networks will remove your ad because of the nature it is and for not following posting guidelines. In my opinion Varolo is a business opportunity, people interested in business should be contacted. It is fine to have people seek it out not interested in business just make sure your village is not confusing this as a job because it isn't one. Finnally I hope the article helped readers understand Varolo a little bit better. Feel free to leave questions and comments below.

Margaret - I have never made an money with Varolo because your village needs to be active and to even make a lot of money you need a lot of villagers.

Your sponsor doesn't technically have to talk to anyone in the downline but its always nice to have someone who does. When I joined my sponsor never talked to me. I don't know if there is a way to leave your current village for a new one.

There is a lot of ways you can try and get villagers. Have you ever blogged before? You can start a blogger blog which is free and write about Varolo and your experience. Join work at home forums and add quality to the discussions, by doing this you can put a link to your blog in your signature which could get some clicks or a link directly to your signup page for Varolo. You could write an article and in the author bio box put a link to your blog. Um... Make a youtube video, use word of mouth, tell your friends...

All you can is try your best and be honest, don't advertise Varolo as a job because its not.
